It's almost spring and so it is time for "Portraits In The Park". Last spring we offered three parks to choose from....but everyone wanted Temple Avenue. This year we will take requests. If you have an idea just let me know....

Valentines Day and Weddings

The two most popular times for a guy to propose to his girlfriend is Christmas and Valentines Day. This is the time when we book most of our weddings for the year. We have a lot of experience at weddings. On the opening page of my website it mentions "For over 600 Brides". In the past few years a lot of people have decided they are wedding photographers, not because of their training, but because they bought a digital camera and some of their friends and family have told them they have talent. I am sure some do have talent. But talent alone does not make successful wedding photographs. Experience and planning must go along with that talent in order to make those gorgeous wedding photographs that brides desire. Remember, after the wedding is over, the food and cake have been eaten, the flowers have wilted and the dress is preserved, only the photographs remain. I'm over winter

After 3 days at home I went to the studio today, we are beginning some interior renovations, and the carpenter began today. I spent most of the day trying to make it possible to enter the studio without slipping down my front steps. I really don't like the ice......although it does make pretty pictures.

Less then a Week Until Christmas

It's not too late for portraits for Christmas Portraits. For those of you who would like to order more from an existing sitting, that deadline is noon on Wednesday. For those sittings that are scheduled on Monday or Tuesday, you will be able to see your proofs and still have prints by Christmas. Don't forget Portrait Gift Certificates as well. This is my favorite week of the year as we deliver all of those portraits that are going to be opened on Christmas. To all my wonderful friends and clients I want to wish a very Merry Christmas.

Location Portraits

This Saturday afternoon December 4th, (the morning is filled)  we will accept a limited number of location sittings. We will discount our normal location charge by 50%. What an opportunity to photograph your family at home and still have plenty of time to order Christmas cards and holiday portraits. Just give us a call.
