Less then a Week Until Christmas

It's not too late for portraits for Christmas Portraits. For those of you who would like to order more from an existing sitting, that deadline is noon on Wednesday. For those sittings that are scheduled on Monday or Tuesday, you will be able to see your proofs and still have prints by Christmas. Don't forget Portrait Gift Certificates as well. This is my favorite week of the year as we deliver all of those portraits that are going to be opened on Christmas. To all my wonderful friends and clients I want to wish a very Merry Christmas.

Location Portraits

This Saturday afternoon December 4th, (the morning is filled)  we will accept a limited number of location sittings. We will discount our normal location charge by 50%. What an opportunity to photograph your family at home and still have plenty of time to order Christmas cards and holiday portraits. Just give us a call.

"A Day At Dunaway"

We are going to be spending Saturday November 6th at Dunaway Gardens capturing Fall Portraits. This is a great opportunity to capture your family or children in a gorgeous fall setting. We will be accepting only a limited number of sittings that day so we can give each sitting our undivided attention.

It's Not Too Late

It is now September and the days are cooler and clearer. It's the perfect time to have your Senior Portrait made after school or on Saturdays. The yearbook deadlines are approaching but there is still time. Early evening photographs in the late summer or early fall are perfect

Our wedding coverage is priced at $1600 and Senior Portrait Packages begin at $240.00....no sitting charge no hidden charges.....Thanks

It may be hot in the afternoon.....but these images were made early one morning before it got so hot and humid. We love to go on location early in the mornings and beat the heat.

Wow This is cool

This innovation is so new we don't have a name for it. What you see pictured is a jump drive. That's ok but it's really cool when we load it with a video from your sitting. Yep, it's a totally cool DVD quality video made from the best images from your sitting. With lot's of video effects and music. Custom made just for you. You can show it on your big screen or cell phone or your computer......or share it with friends and family.....

Senior Portraits

We are preparing for the rapidly approaching Senior Portrait Season. We have some exciting new additions this year, including a June EARLY BIRD SPECIAL that is so cool I cannot stand it. Stay tuned...I will announce it next week......

"Portraits in The Park"

We are making an important addition this spring. In additional to the city park on Temple Avenue, you can choose The Lagrange Street park, or Carl Miller Park. They all have their unique opportunities. The LaGrange Street park has the columns and the fountain and benches on the lower side, but the best photographs are only available in the early morning or late afternoon. Carl Miller park has Kid's Castle but can sometimes get crowded, and Temple Avenue Park works at any time of the day. What a choice! Once again there is no location charge, but it is "first come first served" and we will book up quickly. The dates are April 3rd through April 17th. Thats spring break week and the week after. Just Call Amanda or Renee at 770-253-4821 to set up your appointment. See you there.

Just thought I would add a couple of the images I shot after the snowstorm last weekend.....It was so pretty...but for just a short period of time.....Spring is around the corner though.

It's the time of year when we talk to a lot of brides who are in the process of planning their weddings. What a special day. The culmination of all those dreams and all that planning. We have photographed more then 600 weddings during my career and I love them. I love the excitement, I love all of the happy people, I love to see all the nerves and apprehension. If I had one piece of advice to give a bride about photography it would be to choose your photographer carefully. Choose someone who shares your vision as to what your wedding photographs ought to look like. I have always thought that a balance between candid and posed photographs was the best way to tell the story. We all love the look of those spontaneous moments that make such wonderful photographs. But we also need to have those posed family and friend photos that also help to tell the story. As in most things balance is the key.
